Aldridge, Mrs. Dorothy Carolyn " Miss Dot" age 72 a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at a local healthcare facility. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Aldridge was retired from the state of Alabama Department of Public Health. She was preceded in death by her parents Orson and Beulah Kate Reeves White, husband Doug Aldridge.She is survived by her sons Tim Mitchell of Bessemer, AL, Tracy Aldridge of Deatsville, AL, Darryll Aldridge of Orlando, Florida, three grandchildren, niece Amanda Harsha of Tallassee, AL, nephew Jason McGaughy (Beth) of Clanton, AL and several great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Wayne Armstrong, Billy Lewis, Wayne Law, John Yates, Jason McGaughy, Ron McCalman and Earl C. "Mac" McArthur. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
