William Donald Letford, 62, went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2014.

Survivors include his wife of over 40 years, Judy O'Brien Letford; daughters, Bonnie Letford (Byron Johnson) and Ginger Letford Schofield (Chad); grandsons, Eli Gibson and Asa Letford; sister, Carol Hatcher; mother-in-law, Bettye Mathers and extended family.

Donald was a 22-year veteran of the Montgomery Police Department and a graduate of the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. He practiced law in Montgomery for 12 years. He was an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

A service in celebration of his life will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on Thurs., Oct. 16th at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the service. 

Honorary pallbearers are Michael Carter, Michael Hatcher, George Mingledorff, Billy Noles, Ron Holtsford, Joe Guillot, Eddie Davis and retired Montgomery police officers.
