Ronal "Ronnie" E. Turner (1950-2016) - Class Of 1969

Ronal E. "Ron" Turner, 66, of Prattville, passed away Sunday June 26, 2016. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday June 29 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with remembrances being shared by relatives and friends.

Ron was born in Montgomery, Alabama on April 23, 1950 to the late Leslie M. Turner and Betty Wallace. He was a retired Quality Control Specialist in the avionics manufacturing field. He was an avid Harley-Davidson rider and collector of model motorcycles and related items. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Amanda "Mandy" Turner of Prattville; two sons Robert E. Harris of Atlanta, Stephen V. Harris and his wife Claudia of Ft. Worth, Texas; a daughter Kristy A. Harris of Prattville; two sisters and brothers in law, Donna and Frank Hall of Prattville, Lea Ann and Rick Guarnaccia of Taylor, SC.; a brother and sister in law L. Michael and Inga Turner of Columbia, SC.; three grandchildren Christian, Andrew and Cataleya Harris and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and close friends. 

Honorary pallbearers will be David Morgan, James West and Jimmy Sparks. 
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alabama Sheriff's Association, the American Diabetes Association, the Shriner's Children's Hospital or to the Autauga County Humane Shelter.
