Ronald Steven "Ronnie" Ladet, age 64, a resident of Millbrook, Alabama, died Monday, February 3, 2014 while peacefully sleeping in his bed. Ronnie was a honorable, loyal, brave man and will be missed greatly by many.
Ronnie loved his family, God, Alabama Football, his two dogs, hunting, guns, muscle cars, and America. Ronnie was a member of the GM High Performance Car Club and a member of the Tri-County Shooting Range.
He was born to the late Loyal Ladet of Houma, LA and the late Marilyn C. Anderson of MS on January 12, 1950 in Montgomery, AL.
Ronnie graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1969. He married Diane Beasley Ladet in 1983 and resided in Millbrook, AL.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Diane Beasley Ladet of Millbrook, AL; his two daughters; Jennifer Ladet of Prattville, AL and Kerri Boles of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Delaney Gibbs of Prattville, AL and Tyler Rigdon of Prattville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Eugene Maga.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Dr. Nathan Attwood officiating. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
