James Nick "Jim" Pappanastos, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, at the age of 65. He is preceded in death by his parents Nick & Esta Pappanastos.

Mr. Pappanastos is survived by his wife Marian G. Pappanastos; brother John Nick (Jennie) Pappanastos, and three nephews.

Jim had two successful careers. One as an accounting manager for Retirement Systems of Alabama and he owned Pappanastos Photography.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Landmark Church Of Christ with Pastor Buddy Bell officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Auburn Memorial Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Wood, David Batson, Mark Casner, Matthew Vail, Lucas Vail, and Justin Vail.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brantwood Children's Home, 1309 Upper Wetumpka Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36107.
