Born 1936, Selma AL, attended Sidney Lanier HS '53 & '54. Graduated private school "55. Attended API , Auburn. Joined ALANG, 160th Tac Teconn Squadron (1953-1962) while still in HS. Activated for Berlin Crisis in 1961, discharged form active duty and ALANG in 1962. Employed by the US Geological Survey (USGS, WRD, Surface Water Branch)), Aug '55-'93. Married the beautiful and love of of my life, Billie Sue Wilkes Nelson in Jan 1959 (Sidney Lanier HS, Class of '54). Retired from federal service in 1993 with over 37 years service. Self employed, 1993 -2000. Employed by Hydro-Engineering Solutions, Auburn, AL 2001-16. My beautiful, dear wife(Billie) died Sept 18, 2021. Her Find-a-Grave Internet link is:
