Dorothy Earline Bowden Cox, 79, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:30 am at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Lee Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, June 30, 2014 from 5-7 pm.

She is survived by her children, Robert L. (Lori) Cox, Laura C "Beth" (Lester) Brett, Kathy E. (Allen) Stephens and Edward E. "Eddie" (Donna) Cox.

She was the last of 12 children born to Curtis N. Bowden and Laura Thornton Bowden; she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Allen Edward Stephens II.
