Thelma Odell Sauls Hudson passed away peacefully on Wed., Nov. 23, 2011 at the age of 88. She was born in Ariton, Alabama to Carey and Willie Mae Sauls. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Bryant "Jack" H. Hudson Jr., son-in-law, Larry Jacobs, and brother, Raymond Sauls. Survivors include a devoted son, Dr. Bryant Hudson III, a loving daughter, Bettye Jacobs, and grandchildren, Melody (Eric) Wine, Dawn (Steve) Barranco, Kara (Tab) Cosby, and Bryant "Buddy" Hudson IV, sister, Grace (Lamon) Till, brother Carey (Brooke) Sauls Jr., 10 great- grandchildren, friend, Doug Cripple and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Mon., Nov. 28 from 5-7 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. The funeral and graveside service will be Tues., Nov. 29 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Ed Helton officiating.
