Ms. Kimberly Renee Nesby, 40, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was called home on Sunday, June 7, 2009.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. from Mt. Zion AME Zion Church, W. Jeff Davis Ave. with Reverend Claude Shufford officiating. Interment will follow in Eastwood Memorial Cemetery with Phillips-Riley Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state one hour before funeral services.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Bernice Nesby of Montgomery, Alabama; two brothers, Herman (Gloria) Nesby, Jr., and Bernard (Linda) Nesby, Sr. of Montgomery, Alabama; two sisters, Shirley Davenportof Deatsville, Alabama; and Barbara(Walter) Smith of Jacksonville, Florida; a dedicated nephew, SFCDion (WO1 Twana) Chapmanstationed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; one uncle, Leonard Taylor of Gadsden, Alabama and a host of other relatives and friends.
