Judy Canty edited the Class of 1958 Oracle, which she and the staff dedicated to Mr. Harris. The citation under the picture said:
"And still they gazed, and still the wonder grew that one small head could carry all he knew." Oliver Goldsmith
Little did most of us know that this line, so perfect in describing Mr. Harris, comes from Goldsmith's Poem The Deserted Village, the first line of which reads: "Sweet Auburn, lovliest village of the plain...."
