September 14, 2014 Nancy Carolyn Rice, age 78, native of Montgomery, Alabama, longtime resident of Jackson, Alabama, current resident of Fairhope, and member of 3 Circle Church crossed over to be with her Lord Sunday, September 14, 2014.

She was loved and is missed by her children, Robbie Chastain (Brenda) of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Chuck Chastain of Arcata, California, and Beth Chastain of Pismo Beach, California, sister, Joyce Caddell (John) of Montgomery, Alabama, grandchildren Daniel Duckett of Belfast, Ireland, Erin Maulden of Fairhope, Alabama, Hannah Maulden of Bowling Green, Ohio, Kymber Maulden of Berkley, California, Melissa Maulden of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Ben Maulden of McKinleyville, California; along with many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Nancy was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School and the University of South Alabama and tHaught several years at Jackson High School. Later in life she worked as an editor for Northrup-Grumman in California before retiring and moving to Fairhope.

She enjoyed poetry, art, reading, and loved helping others. Above all she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and looked forward to joining him in her next life.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Nancy's memory to 3 Circle Church at 10274 Hwy 104, Fairhope, AL 36532.
