Ben Boykin, 94 years old, passed away on April 12th, 2018. Ben and his wife, Martha Kathleen, were married for 72 years. They had two children: Jane (Albert), and Benny (Debbie); five grandchildren: Bonnie (Gary), April (Bobby), Jennifer (Evan), Justin, and Bentley (Reba); and three great, great grandchildren: Preston, Anna Katherine, and Cadence.

Ben was a WWII veteran, then graduated from the University of Alabama, where he studied medicine and math. He was also on the University's men's tennis team. He was a teacher and a principal in his career. He retired from Goodwyn Jr. High.

Ben and Kathleen were members of Morningview Baptist Church for over 60 years until they moved to Pompano Beach, Florida, to be near their children in 2015.

There will be a private ceremony in Pompano Beach on April 18, 2018.
