Julia Aldean Justice (Parker) (1921-2015) - Class Of 1940

Julia Aldean Justice Parker went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at her home in Florala, Alabama.

Aldean was born on March 9, 1921 in Manchester, GA to James Aldean Justice and Julia Routon Justice. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, AL in 1940. Her life was spent serving the Lord and ministering to others, always with a smile.

In addition to being a pastor/farmer’s wife and helpmate, Aldean taught piano at Escambia Farms School during the 1950’s. She worked briefly in the office at Montezuma Christian Academy in Andalusia, AL. She also played the piano for numerous churches, including Yellow River Baptist Church in the Oak Grove community of Northwest Florida where she served as pianist until the time of her death.

Aldean is survived by her two sons, James (Nancy) Parker and George (Rhonda) Parker, her daughter, Jeanne (Mike) Cheshire and brother, Leon Justice. She has ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Aldean was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Parker, her parents, one brother, E.B. Justice and one sister, Imozene Justice Woodham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Yellow River Baptist Church, 7799 Yellow River Baptist Church Road, Baker, FL with Reverend Randy Holtz officiating. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 at Evans Funeral Home in Florala. Interment will be in the Yellow River Baptist Church Cemetery.
