PORTERFIELD, Mildred Brown, 88, passed away Monday,September 1, 2008. Her Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4th at 3:30 pm at Southern Memorial with Rev. Michael A. Northcutt officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm prior to the service. She was preceded in death by two children, Harvey Brown, Jr. & Joyce Brown. Survivors include her husband, John F. Porterfield; children, Barbara Carrington & Gary Brown; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith & Grace Hospice. Southern Memorial Directing
