James M. Brooks died in 1992. He was survived by his wife, Geraldine, and three children, James, Sharyn, and Gerry Anne.

Mr. Brooks was a USAF fighter pilot who fought in the European theater during WW II under the auspices of The United States Army Air Corps. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1976 as a Regular Officer at the rank of Lt. Colonel.
