I have 10 "Grand"children - 8 boys and 2 girls. 2 of my children have 3 children and my youngest has 4. The oldest was born in 1995 and the youngest was born in 2014.
Biography, Stories, or Comments:

I married Vaughn Oswald the day after he graduated summer school in 1969 and had our 3 wonderful children in the years that followed. We were married 31 years before we ended up divorced. I remarried in 2000 and moved out West for 10 years. Just moved back to AL in May of 2010. I am trying to reclaim the lost years. I am enjoying being around my children and grandchildren.
Stories while at Lanier :

I was in the VIE program my Jr and Sr years at Lanier and whereas this allowed me to get a jump start in my career as a Hairstylist by getting out of school early and attending Career Beauty College to get my hair Styling degree, it also took me away from all those GREAT in-school activities that I read about. I seldom was able to attend any pep rallies or any assemblies as these were conducted after I left for my Professional training. If I had it to do over again, I would not do it. I would have a full day on campus to have stomped those hallowed halls with the rest of you Poets. So for now I just have to enjoy reading the posts those of you who were there a full day post. Keep them coming. They mean so much to me as I am sure they do to so many others.
