Jacqueline Anne Alford (Sharpe) - Class Of 1959

Mrs. Jacquelyn Anne Sharpe, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. She was born December 26, 1940, in Montgomery, Alabama to Jack and Ira Mae Alford.

Mrs. Sharpe was a resident of Freeport, Florida. She was Christian by faith and a member of the Destiny Worship Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She served as a mentor, ministering to those in need.  She was the family anchor with her faith being the Cornerstone in Jesus Christ.  She loved life to the fullest. She was a woman of integrity and great faith.

Mrs. Sharpe was preceded in death by her father, mother; and grandson, Hunter James Brixey.

Mrs. Sharpe is survived by her husband Jimmy Sharpe of 61 years; son Jay Sharpe both of Freeport, Florida; daughter Shannon Sharpe King, and husband Frank of Crestview, Florida, Valerie Sharpe Bailey of Goldsboro North Carolina; brother Norman Alford of Hendersonville, North Carolina; sister Sue Flaherty and husband Robert of Birmingham, Alabama; grandchildren Trey Brixey, Joshua Carr, Allison Bailey, Elizabeth Bailey, Natalie Bailey, Brody Sharpe; great-grandchild, Skylar Brixey.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Vaggalis officiating.
