Faunsdale - Three young Montgomery men died in a head-on collision Sunday near Faunsdale in Marengo County. They were identified as George B. Azar Jr., 21; Steve Sutton, 21, and Ricky Tyus, 21. Troopers said a vehicle the three men were towing began swerving and threw their car out of control.

Ricky Earl Tyus, age 21, a lifetime resident of Montgomery and of 4025-B Bethmanor Drive, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 1978, at 4:25 p.m. in Marengo County in an automobile accident. 

Funeral services were held from White Chapel, Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1979, at 2 p.m. with Reverend. Dave Bouler, Reverend Steve Bouler, and Reverend Coy Barker officiated. Burial in Serenity Gardens of Memory.

Survivors include parents. Mr. and Mrs. Howard L. Tyus, Montgomery; three brothers, Lewis Edwin Tyus, Albany, Georgia, Jimmie Wayne Tyus, and Roger Dale Tyus, both of Montgomery; one sister, Brenda Ann Jarvis of Montgomery.
