Several degrees mostly related to healthcare; ASN, BSN, MSCIS, BSHIM/RHIA (prev referred to as Medical Records); worked at Jackson Hospital & Clinic 1978-2000 as RN, Quality/Risk Mgr, HIM Coding Mgr, Y2K Implementation Team Leads for Medical Staff/HIM Depts. 9/2000 joined HCA, Inc international hospital system as Coding Education Coor, standardizing coding practices company-wide, to assure coded Inpt/Outpt reimbursement for care was current & accurate.
2001-2019 Director if Quality/ Risk Mgt, Accreditations overall & select Disease Specific federally mandated studies. Worked most of waking hours

Unfortunately, the primary memories I always remember 1st was when girls voluntarily formed a basketball team,1969 Administration insisted if we played games, we must represent YWCO; Lady Poets was in breech of school CODE hanging in the lobby st the time; we played 1 game & disbanded. In the next decade, legislation was passed requiring equal female sports’ rights!!!!
