Rose Marie (Markham) Land received her angel wings at 90. Born in Montgomery, Alabama to Gladys and Joseph Markham, she resided in Bluff Park, (Hoover) AL since 1964.

A loving wife and mother, she is survived by all four children, Pamela J. Land Peck (Robert), Carol L. Land, Kenneth R. Land Jr. (Linda), and Michael D. Land (Dona); eight grandchildren, Kristen Peck Shultz (Phillip), Kara Peck, Kimberly Peck, Paden L. Habshey, Dustin R. Land (Abbey), Daniel R. Land (Brittany), David Land, and Candice Bush (Jamie); as well as eight great-grandchildren, Paisley, Powell, Eli, Drew, Evey Jane, Avery, Hudson, and Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews and family members.

Mrs. Land was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Land; her parents, Gladys Williamson, and Joseph Markham; and her siblings, Carolyn Shoults, Sonny and Robert Markham.

A friends and family graveside for Rose Marie will be held Friday, April 5, 2024, at 10:00 am at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109 with a processional forming at Leak Memory Chapel at 9:45 am with Reverend Eric Hogstrom officiating.

Mike Land, Ken Land, Daniel Land, Dustin Land, Paden Habshey, and David Land will be Pallbearers.
