The daughter of John Thomas and Augusta Celia Mabson West, Susan "Sue" Farley West was born on October 23, 1903.  She married Emmett Crook Ruth, who was a member of the firm, Ruth and Sons in Montgomery, Alabama.  Sue and Emmett had no children.  She passed away on October 8, 1971 at age 67.
