Warren M. Stafford (-2013) - Class Of 1968

Stafford, Warren M., passed away on November 1, 2013 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Alice Smith Stafford; a daughter, Chelsea Stafford (Randy) Panther of San Antonio, TX; two stepsons, Kel (Brooke) Nyberg and Nick (Amanda) Nyberg of Montgomery; a brother, Dr. Mark (Kelly) Stafford and two sisters, Lisa Stafford and Stephanie Ledbetter, all of Birmingham and six adored grandchildren: Abby and Maddy Panther, Bailey and Evan Nyberg and Tyler and Bronner Nyberg and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude Marie Warren Stafford and James Stafford and his brother, David Stafford. Warren served two tours in Viet-Nam and was a noted Montgomery realtor for thirty-two years. He leaves behind many loved friends in the community. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone at Baptist Hospice for their extraordinary care and friendship. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home from 12 - 1 p.m. prior to the service. Funeral services will be in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with burial following in Alabama Heritage Cemetery with Military Honors. Active pallbearers will be Mike Warren, Danny Esco and Jimmy Bagley.
