Naomi Moore (Wallace) (1932-2016) - Class Of 1950

Naomi Wallace, 84, passed away Sunday, November 6 in her home surrounded by her five daughters. Naomi was born March 10, 1932. She met her husband, Bill, when they both worked at the Empire movie theater.

She was one of the founding members of Druid Hills Church of Christ, which later became Vaughn Park. She was a retired state of Alabama employee. Her life was always centered around her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Billy Robert Wallace. She is survived by daughters Linda McRay, Karen (Rick) Popwell, Nancy (Steven) Rambo, Amy (Charles) Hightower, Ann (Stan) Bragg; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters- Annie Jane Kohn, and Helen Knoebel; many nieces and nephews, and loving caregiver Femetrice "FeeFee" Robinson.

Visitation and Services will take place at Vaughn Park Church of Christ. Visitation will be Friday at 10:00am, with funeral services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Agape or The Alzheimer's Foundation. Leak Memory Chapel directing.
