Hampy was a wonderful kid.   He was playful and impish yet gentle and a pure delight.  He was my best friend at Church of the Ascension youth events.  His smile was infectious and he was never beyond a practical joke.  Once during a church service he was an alter boy passing around the collection plate and he had a note passed down the pew to me telling me to meet him after the service because he had a message from my boyfriend.  He had a way of making people feel really special, when, in fact, it was him that was the little shining star.   I will allways remember his sweet smile and gentle grace.
