William Iverson Hare, Sr. (1928-2015) - Class Of 1947

William "Bill" Iverson Hare, Sr., 87, a resident of Prattville, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Mr. Hare was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Jana Hare.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean Hare; two daughters, Vicki (Tommy) Williamson and Valle (Don) Webb; two sons, Billy Hare and Bennett (Missy) Hare; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Kay Lowery; three brothers, Charles (Nell) Hare, T.J. (Shirley) Hare and Robert Earl Hare; several nieces and nephews; two special friends, C.W. White and Joey Simmons; extended family and friends

Bill owned and operated Hare Appliance from 1963 until his retirement in 1990.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from First Baptist Church of Prattville with Dr. Travis Coleman and Reverend Dave Burns officiating at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite charity . The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
