William E. "Bill" Cloud, 58, of Oxford, Mississippi, died suddenly on April 28th, 2010. Bill was predeceased by his parents Burt M. Cloud and Louise Lowe Cloud.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Carole McManus Cloud; a son, Travis Cloud and fiancé Jennifer Johnson of Austin, TX; a son, Austin Cloud and a daughter Christy Cloud, both of Oxford; brothers, Burt and wife Sherry Cloud of Atlanta, GA, and Randy and wife LuBowen Cloud of Griffin, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill's family was the most important thing in his life.
Bill was born March 21st, 1952 in LaFayette, Alabama, and attended schools in both Montgomery, Alabama, and Clinton, Mississippi. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1970 and the University of Southern Mississippi in 1974.
Affectionately known as "Hoolie" by his many friends, Bill was a committed Christian, loving husband, proud father, and avid football fan - particularly of Ole Miss, the University of Texas, the University of Southern Mississippi and the Green Bay Packers. At the time of his death, Bill was living in Dubai, UAE where he was on assignment with Chicago Bridge and Iron Company, his employer of 26 years.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Champion Forest Baptist Church in the Family Life Center, Houston, Texas.
