Tim Woodward - Class Of 1965

Timothy Enfield Woodward, born in Hazard, KY September 24, 1947 to Rev. Leonard E. Woodward and Agnes (Whetstone) Woodward. He died Sunday night, October 19, 2014 due to complications following recent surgery.

Tim was a lifelong educator beginning his career as a teacher in Montgomery, AL. He served most of his service years as a school administrator in Alabama, Virginia and New Hampshire. He has been a Special Education teacher at Heritage High School in Rockdale County since 2006.

Tim loved his family. He is survived by wife, Jill Victoria Woodward; sons, Timothy C. Woodward, Benjamin K. Woodward, and Joseph A. Woodward; step-son, Luke M. Buckham; daughters, Carrie R. Woodward and Rachel J. Woodward; foster daughter, Tia Cast Leath; grandson, Jackson F. Woodward; sister, Camille Melton and her husband Thomas Melton.

His son Joshua Woodward predeceased him.

Tim had a great love of sports, especially Major League Baseball, Alabama Football and fishing.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Scot Wards Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Johnny Raines and Harry Duke officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 3 p.m. prior to the service.
