Millard Browder Flinn, Sr., 87, of Shorter, died peacefully Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at his daughter's home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Tuskegee Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Byron Golden will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Corbitt's Funeral Home in Tuskegee from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mr. Flinn is survived by his daughter Debbie (Tom) Noble; his son Browder (Lisa) Flinn; his sister-in-law Ruby Melnick; his nephew Dwight Long; his niece Addis (Larry) Duck; his grandchildren Leslie Ann (Brandon) Hood, Morgan Jones, Kayla (Rob) Russell and Philip (Julia) Flinn; four great grandchildren; and his faithful companion Scooter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Erlene Ray Flinn, his parents Millard and Maud Meriwether Flinn, his sister Francis Long and his great grandson Alexander Kade Hood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Southern Care Hospice, 7067 Sydney Curve, Suite B., Montgomery, AL 36117.
