Laurence Lempriere Prince, Jr. (1914-1997) - Class Of 1931

Laurence Lempriere Prince, 82, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 1997.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Stringfellow Prince; his sister, Mrs.Edward Moynihan of Seaford, Delaware; his daughter, Elizabeth Roby of Santa Ana, California; his son, Laurence Prince of Libertyville, Illinois and his grandchildren, Allison and Scott Roby and Kimberly and Alexander Prince.

A veteran of World War II, he was awarded the Silver and Bronze Stars for meritorious service in Europe. Mr. Prince was a graduate of Washington University, St. Louis and a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.  Laurence was president of Bradley Corporation, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin at the time of his retirement to Tucson in 1979. He was a member of Skyline Country Club.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on February 12th at St. Phillips in the Hills Church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave. at River Road.

Donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Phillip’s in the Hills or your favorite charity.
