Gary Leo Norred, age 70 of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, Alabama. The funeral service will be on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at Leak Memory Chapel, with burial following in Greenwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Teamon Knight.

Mr. Norred is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lynn Norred of Montgomery, AL; his son, Jason C. Norred and wife, Lindsey; his daughter, Katie N. Gaston, and husband, Gordon; his brother, Larry C. Norred, and wife, Virginia; his sister Beverly N. McCartney, and husband, Claude; four grandchildren: William Gaston, Dalton, Gaston, Carson Norred, Cameron Norred; and a host of nieces and nephews, all of Montgomery, AL.

Mr. Norred was preceded in death by his parents, Massie L. and Ruby K. Norred; his brother, Morris F. Norred; his sister, Sharon D. Norred and his nephew, Cameron A. Norred.

Pallbearers will be Clint McLain, Curt McLain, David Guillot, Dusty Baker, Marcus Roberts, Nathan Helms, Jon Moody, Jeff Watkins, and Steve Helms.
