McLane, Janice Pickett, of Montgomery, died at her home Monday, December 10, 2012, at sixty years of age. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Reagan James McLane; a son Andrew Reagan and daughter, Mari (Jonathan) Kraljic and a new grandson, John Thomas (Johnny) Kraljic. She is survived by her Mother and best friend, Marilyn Pickett; brothers, Jack Pickett (Jerry) and Edward Pickett (Judy). She is also survived by nieces, Margaret-Ann Pickett, Katherine Lane Pickett, Elizabeth Dowe Pickett, and Anna Rose Pickett and nephew Joshua Pickett.
Janice was a 1975 Graduate of Huntington College and earned a Master's degree from the University of Alabama in 1979. She was a long-time instructor at South University, touching the lives of many.

The funeral will take place at St John's Episcopal Church on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Robert Wisnewski officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 am in the St. John's Library. A graveside service will held following the funeral at Greenwood Cemetery with all invited to attend. Students, staff and faculty of South University will serve as pallbearers.
