Mrs. Kathryn Ann Phillips (Kathy)  Shambo, 52, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at her home after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband; Ronnie Shambo, daughter; April Shambo, parents; Clarence and Helen Phillips. Mrs. Shambo was with Crawford/Broadspire and Co. as a Worker Compensation adjuster for many years The family will receive friends at Leak-Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 20 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 1:00 PM in Pine Level Methodist Church (South) with Rev. Dave Kirby officiating. The family will also receive friends at the church one hour to service time. Burial will follow in Hills Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie Bullard, David Stevens, Landon Rogers, Tony Rainey, Ken Henmann and Bill Parson. We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Peter Shashy and Amedysis Home Health.
