Faunsdale - Three young Montgomery men died in a head-on collision Sunday near Faunsdale in Marengo County. They were identified as George B. Azar Jr., 21; Steve Sutton, 21, and Ricky Tyus, 21. Troopers said a vehicle the three men were towing began swerving and threw their car out of control.

Steven Mark Sutton, 21, a lifetime resident of Montgomery and of 2144 Beverly Drive, died suddenly Sunday, December 31. 1978 at 4:30 p.m. following an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held from White Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 1979, with Reverend Austin Moore Jr. officiating. Burial in Memorial Cemetery.
