Michael G. Stewart, passed away after an extended illness on July 22, 2015. Born October 25, 1956 in Troy, Alabama. Preceded in death by his father, Alvin Stewart and sister, Pamela Marie Stewart. Survived by his mother, Pat Stewart; brother, Geoffrey Stewart (wife, Deb); long-time friends Ed Lacey and Matthew Ko; and his favorite Aunt Dean. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and so, so many friends. Michael was City Manager of Avis/Budget rental car in Montgomery for many years.

Michael was a caring, kind individual and friend to many who was always willing to help others before helping himself. Memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at First Christian Church, 1705 Taylor Road in Montgomery, Alabama at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2015. Service to be directed by life-long friend, Malcolm Marler. His family will receive visitors at a reception at Michael's home immediately following the conclusion of the memorial service.
