James and I were very good friends. We even shared an apartment at Alabama for a while. We had some really good times that I will always remember. James loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his cigarettes, Cokes (and beer), and music like the Doors, The Chambers Bros.and CCR. He was somewhat of a non-conformist but had a very high IQ. I lost track of him after he entered the Army. I had always hoped that we would meet again, but now I hope I'll see him in heaven.
Rest in peace James; I still think of you from time to time.
