Wiley C. Richardson - Class Of 1968

Wiley Chalmers Richardson, 56 , of Vestavia Hills, died Friday, April 13th. Mr. Richardson was born in Montgomery, Mississippi. He was preceded indeath by his parents, C. H.and Virginia Liston Richardson, and his youngest sister,Alison.

Mr. Richardson is a 1968 graduate from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama, and a 1972 graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. After college, he joined the United States Air Force, where he served as a Captain.

After serving his country, he moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where he received two degrees from Samford University and became a Certified Public Accountant. He worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Thompson Investment Company and was an active member of the Episcopal Cathedral Church of the Advent. He enjoyed vacations in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ann; two children, Sara Richardson Sullivan and Brian Richardson; son-in-law, Jordan Sullivan; two grandchildren, Cole and Isabel; and three sisters, Judi Canon of San Antonio, Texas; Lynda Coats and Gini Richardson, both of Montgomery.

Arrangements are being made by Ridout's Valley Chapel. Services will be held at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham at 11:00 am on Monday, April 16th.
