Bush Anderson "Butch" Gilchrist (1949-2005) - Class Of 1967

Bush Anderson Gilchrist, 56, of Montgomery died Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Mr. Gilchrist was preceded in death by his father, Claude Bush Gilchrist.

Mr. Gilchrist built a thriving Internet furniture sales business, Mozeke, Inc., and was a member of Hope Hull United Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and a lover of nature. Mr. Gilchrist was very active in the Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and son and gave of himself freely to help other people at all times.

He is survived by his wife, Traci Sinclair Gilchrist; his mother, Bonnie Vest Gilchrist; a son, Wesley (Inge) Gilchrist; a stepson, Christian Moore; a sister, Claudia G. Renfroe; and two nieces, Allison and Bonnie Renfroe.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Hartselle City Cemetery in Morgan County with visitation at Peck Funeral Home from 1 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
