MONFEE, Lillian Mae Oden, 68, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on April 13, 2007 after an extended illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alford Mon­fee, a former Montgomery fire fighter, her mother, Nancy Lorena Faulk Oden, her fa­ther, Morris Oden, and her grandson, George Ray Trum­bull, III. Surviving family are her brother, Wayne Morris Oden and her three children: Carolyn Monfee Kallies, Ste­ven Monfee and his wife Mary, Brenda Monfee Trum­bull and her husband Lt. Col.George Ray Trumbull Jr. Also surviving are her six grand­children: Kristopher and Heath Kallies, Wesley Crowe, Raymond and Bradley Mon­fee and Nathan Trumbull.  Lillian was a graduate of Sid­ney Lanier High School, class of 1956.  She was employed for 20 years by the Montgom­ery Police Department, for the District Attorney’s Office serv­ing the Honorable Jimmy Evans and her friend, the Hon­orable Ellen Brooks. In lieu of flowers, Lillian re­quested contributions in her memory be made to the Chisholm Baptist Church gen­eral fund.  Honorary pallbear­ers are the officers of the 563rd Flying Training Squadron, Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.  Funeral serv­ices will be Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 2:30 PM with The Reve­rend Lenny P. Bolton, former pastor of Chisholm Baptist Church conducting the serv­ice.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
