Robert E. Schuffert, 64, of Huntsville, formerly of Montgomery, passed away Saturday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy D. Schuffert.

Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Cherry and husband Calvin of Montgomery and Katherine D Fugate of Huntsville; seven grandchildren, Cal Cherry, Amanda Cherry and Wesley Cherry of Montgomery, Sara Sharp, Mary Claire, Davis and Hayes Fugate; one great-granddaughter, Blakeley Katherine French all of Huntsville; and one brother, Donald Schuffert and wife, Joy, of Selma.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntsville with Dr. Charles Gattis officiating. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery. Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville and Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery are assisting the family.
