Johnny "Cowboy" Banks, Jr. (-2006) - Class Of 1985

BANKS, Mr. Johnny, Jr. (Cowboy), a resident of Montgomery, AL., died on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 of natural causes in Chesterfield, IN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 1:00 P.M., from Bethel Baptist Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Calvin McTier, Pastor. Reverend Lonnie Nickson is officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Directing.  He was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School class of 1985.  He leaves to mourn his parents: Mr. Johnny L. Banks, Sr. (Elmyra Jones) and Mrs. Willia D. Taylor (Lawrence Taylor Jr.) of Lawrenceville, GA.; Grandmother Mrs. Wilma Toles of Montgomery, AL. A devoted Uncle, Mr. Pedro Lewis of Montgomery, AL.; His six children: Christian, Remon, Nicholas, Monica, Kim, and Jatorian of Montgomery, AL, One brother, Nicholas James Taylor, Lawrenceville, GA.; Six sisters: Monica Banks, Pamela Banks, of Montgomery, AL,; LaTonya Taylor Ermo, South Carolina , Valeria (Brad) Hasty, Rex, GA, Bridgett Taylor, Tulsa, OK.; Two devoted nieces: Kourtney A. Banks Montgomery, AL.; and Ayla D.Ofenloch Taylor, Lawrenceville, GA.; Seven uncles: Hayward (Magnolia) Banks, Charlie (Barbara) Banks, Jr., Jeremiah Banks, Danny Banks, all of Montgomery, AL., Mr. Toney L. (Rosalyn) Lewis, Norcross, GA ; and James (Ruth) Betts of Memphis, TN.; Two aunts, Linda (John) Turner and Maudie Banks, both of Montgomery, AL. Devoted Great Aunt, Ruth (John) Lewis. Cowboy is loved by a host of other family members and special friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Banks Sr. and Mr. Jesse Toles.
