Bill was a fraternity brother at the University of Alabama. Bless his heart, he could talk a "blue streak". We used to call him "Mouth of the South". But he was funny when you got to know him, laughing as easily at himself as he did with others.
Perhaps like many of us, too many of us never took the time to get to know him.
I'm not exactly sure when he passed away, but I seem to remember it was in an auto accident in the early 70's.
