Carroll was sensitive, very intelligent, informed on almost any subject you could think of, loved his Harley and later classic Chevy, and was treated poorly by most fellow Poets because he had scars from a ninth grade motor cycle accident. What a wonderful man you missed knowing! His later achievements are too numerous to mention. Just proves that high school is not fun for all.
