Joe and I have lived in Florida since he graduated from Vet School at Auburn in 1967. After interning in Miami for 2 years, we were hooked on the weather and outdoor activities. We moved to central Florida in l969 and have loved it here. We are on the East coast and do a lot of deep sea fishing and Joe scubadives. Our children areaccomplished scuba divers and lovers of the water. Our daughter and her husband have a 39' sailboat and they water ski at least 4 days a week during their short summer in New Jersey.
I stay busy playing bridge and gardening and Joe shootsSporting Clays competively. He sold his practice in Jan. 08 and enjoys working partime for the current owner.
We have a motorhome and season tickets
for Auburn football. The motorhome stays at University Station on the Notasulga highway during football season and we drive back and forth. Last year was a very exciting season for the Auburn Tigers and we went to Arizona for the National
Championship Game. What a thrill!
We spend a great deal of time in Auburn watching our grandsons play baseball, basketball and football.
Joe and I just celebrated our 47th anniversary and plan a cruise to the Baltic area of Northern Europe to celebrate--just in case we don't make it to 50!!
We have lived in Auburn since summer of ‘18. Grandson plays baseball for AU. WAR Eagle.

There are just so many great memories; I can't really pick out just one.
Remember those great bus trips to Camp Belser? How much fun were they. The panomines; weren't we just the cutest things. The Spring Break trips to PC; freezing our ---- off in March trying to get a tan. Now we see the dermatologist to undo the damage but what fun. MoonMist and Star Dust; Lanier vs. Lee football games; dances in the gym with the spinning light casting stars over the area. Those were great times and dear friends.
Joe and I were talking recently about how fortunate we have been. Amongst his guy friends, none have left us and amongst my girlfriends we have lostDinah and Judy. So young and so sad.
I remember loading the trunk full of friends and sneaking into the Fairview Drive In. What would our Mothers say. Root Beer floats at the A & W. Krystal hamburgers after seeing Bobbie Darin at the Paramount Theatre.

All too soon it was on to college, sorority rush, lots of new friends and a world full of new memories to be made.

But, oh, how the good ole days in Montgomery come flooding back when you let yourself drift there.

I don't see too many old classmates too often but I do think about you and am so looking forward to catching up in April.
