The family of Evelyn McGuire Gibson is very sad to tell you of her passing on May 19, 2011. She died peacefully at the age of 67 at the Bruns House hospice facility in Alamo, California, which is near her home in Concord, California.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by her mother Frances, her husband Larry, her son Matthew, her daughter-in-law Lisa and sisters Margaret, Jan and Susan.

A memorial service in her honor was held last Sunday in Sacramento, California. Another remembrance for her family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery, Alabama.
