Marlin Martin Mooneyham III, 40, a resident of 3609 Fieldcrest Drive and a lifelong resident of Montgomery, Alabama, died Wednesday at 5:30 a.m. after an extended illness in a local hospital. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Church of the Holy Comforter with Reverend Bob Miller officiating—burial in Greenwood Cemetery with Leak-Memory Chapel directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Cottle Mooneyham; one son, Marlin Martin Mooneyham IV; two daughters, Miss Elizabeth Mooneyham, and Miss Lois Mooneyham; his mother, Mrs. Lois Butler Mooneyham; one brother, Thomas Mooneyham, all of Montgomery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Central YMCA or one's favorite charity.
