Nov. 4, 1938 – Sept. 21, 2016

Clyde C. Pearson, Jr., 77, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Elizabeth Pearson.

Mr. Pearson was a veteran of the U.S. Army, an artist and a craftsman. He was an architect in Huntsville and Atlanta until his retirement. Clyde loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandson and pets.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Virginia Boyd Pearson; daughter, Susan Olivia Ward; sons, Clyde Collins Pearson III and Charles Hunter Pearson (Wendy); eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and daughter-in-law, Karen Pearson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23 at the Church of the Nativity, Episcopal with The Rev. Rusty McCown officiating. Laughlin Service and Funeral Home presiding.

Memorials may be made to the Greater Huntsville-Madison County Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
