Joseph "Joe" Chamberlin Young, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama was born on May 14, 1938 in Montgomery, Alabama and passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the age of 76.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cain's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Susan Beeson officiating.

Mr. Young is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy Young; son, Allen (Krista) Young; daughter, Laura (Ron) Taylor; grandchildren, Kyle Taylor, Emily Taylor, Lindsey Young, and Chris Young; brother, Bernard (Roxanne) Young; and sister Kate Houston. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Ed (Pat) Young, Jr.
