Allison Dobbins (Hogan) (1937-2018) - Class Of 1955

Allison Dobbins, 80, of Montgomery, Alabama, died peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her father, David Wesley Dobbins, mother, Elizabeth Casey Dobbins, and husband, Dr. Joseph Daniel Hogan, Jr.

Mrs. Hogan was born in Selma, Alabama, and attended Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, graduating in the Class of 1954. She went on to become a licensed dental hygienist with a career that spanned more than 47 years. She was a member of the Bloodsworth Sunday School class at Trinity Presbyterian Church, where she married her beloved husband in 1961.

Allison was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her loving demeanor will be missed by her family and all who knew and adored her.

Mrs. Hogan is survived by her sons Joseph Daniel Hogan, III, Dianne Hogan (daughter), Robert Wesley Hogan (Jan), and Michael Thomas Hogan (Kathryn).

Mrs. Hogan is also survived by eight grandchildren; Brandon J. Blackburn (Sarah), Matthew Joshua Hogan (Ally), Marissa Fernandez Ryan (Michael), Francis Casey Hogan, Christina Claire Hogan, Grace Elizabeth Hogan, Jacob Michael Hogan, Danielle Sprague Hogan, and one great-grandchild, Johnathan William Ryan.

Her surviving siblings include her triplet sisters, Leah Dobbins Pleasant (Joe), and Marcia Dobbins Fagan (Richard), brother Lawrence Wesley Dobbins, and sister Emily Dobbins Knight (Barry), along with many adored nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 11:00 am, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, with a Memorial Service immediately following at 12:00 pm.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
