Edith Crane Bauer, of Marion, AL, born Sept. 27th, 1937 in Montgomery, AL, died in her sleep April 9th, 2014. She was a beloved and loyal Army wife. She loved her two children and three grandchildren; as well as the many cadets from MMI and West Point that she and her husband of 54 years LTC (RET) David Bauer had sponsored. She was active in St. Wilfrid's Episcopal Church, Inter Se, Judson Alumni and her Thursday Bridge Club.

She is survived by her brother Jimmy Crane; husband David; son Stephen; daughter Amanda Ingram and grandsons, Brian Bauer, Zach and Griffin Ingram. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday April 13, 2014 at Saint Wilfrid's Episcopal Church. Burial will be held at St. Wilfrid's Episcopal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. Wilfrid's Cemetery Trust Fund c/o St. Wilfrid's Church, Marion, AL.
