Ms. Patsy Paterson Chappelle, 80, of Montgomery, passed away May 2, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, John Burns Paterson; mother, Sarah Bragg Horn Paterson; and brother, John Burns Paterson Jr.

A native of Montgomery, Patsy was born August 26, 1936. She graduated from Lanier High School and attended the University of Alabama. Patsy was a member of First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed many friends, served on the prayer shawl ministry and helped prepare weekly mailings.

Her surviving immediate family includes son Robert (Helen Pinkston) Chappelle Jr., granddaughter Hannah, of Mobile, and grandson Grayson, of Nashville; and son John Chappelle of Fairhope.

Family visitation will occur at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 5 at First United Methodist Church. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m.
